If both of you agreed for it to be a ranked duel, then I assume yes. Ranked duels are official both in Ranked Tournaments (hosted by staff exclusively) and in the Ranked Duel Arena, when both opponents agreed it would be a Ranked Match.

Like SK said, you get points in the Ranked Duel Arena, but if you don't wanna duel for ranking you can go in the casual duel arena. The same applies for the tournament section. Here's a detailed explanation of how our system works:
