Love the first one, 9.5/10 from me on that.
The 2nd background is kinda simple, so I give it an 8/10. KIU Frosty Wink

Its good but i dont like that style, for me its better when it has a real background which suits the character. Yours is like when choosing a character in some game or loading screen of a game. IMO the colors you used for the bg are cool, the lil effects do some make up on the picture too, but pay attention at your string. It goes through her stomach and not around her Very Happy

Actually the string isn't going the the stomach, I used the dodge tool on that area, but it came out a bit wrong. Anyways, like I said, it's a test of a new style, since my old style was boring.

EDIT: My latest work, as it says in the sig, it's my first try at smudge. It may be too sharp, but without sharpening the render looks way too blurry. Comment pls.

I see you always use filters and the same font , and maybe place your renders in the same way. Try to create something new .. have you thought about C4Ds or Adjustments effects ?

Not good with C4Dz at all, don't know about adjustment effects, and as for the fonts everytime I search for them on google I get the same sites.

You forgot to use this effect for that flower at left and somewhere upside. Also there is not a focal point about lightning and sharpening. KIU Wink

Too big text and light need fix. You can make text just a little smaller and fix your lightning. You can create a black filled layer and with a soft white brush, brush where you want light. Then low opacity of layer. Wink

I agree. Small text = good text. Or at least relatively small. With this I like to use a decent sized render that will take up at least half the canvas by itself. Maybe a third depending on what the final result is supposed to look like.

As for the lighting suggestion I found adjustment layers to be good for this unless you want the lighting applied to only one layer. Layer -> Adjustment Layer. This allows you to adjust which areas of the canvas receive the adjustment too. Same technique though, but easier to manage IMO.

I like the background, but the render is a bit dotted, as if it was over-sharpened. Also the text is in a too high contrast with everything, I suggest using a clipping mask on the font layer with a copy of the entire sig inside the masked layer to get similar colors.

After editing it, here's the result:

Frost's North Pole Gallery(Right Across from Santa's Workshop) Fabulousv

I unsharpened the render and made the text smaller, but that's the most I could do without having to start all over.

I agree with BERKAY on the lens flare, they tend to cover the render a bit.

You should fix your gamma perfection. I mean lightning. Some adjustments like Exposure exist for this. Catch perfection via other PSDs. I mean search some good PSDs like Anzo's one since he always use Exposure. Smile
