Post by TheWiseman on Mon Apr 25, 2011 10:35 pm

    Legendary Six

This deck has tested well against several deck types including: GBs, Batteryman OTK, Plant Synchro, Hopeless Dragons, Blackwings, Formula Monarch, Zombies, Rock Stun and more.

    1 Shien's Squire

    Spells (18)
    3 Shien’s Smoke Signal
    3 Six Samurai United
    3 Upstart Goblin
    2 Mystical Space Typhoon
    2 Shien’s Dojo
    1 Dark Hole
    1 Gateway of the Six
    1 Reinforcement of the Army
    1 Book of Moon
    1 Monster Reborn

    1 Solemn Judgment
    1 Mirror Force

    Side Deck (15)
    2 Different Dimension Ground
    2 Nobleman of Crossout
    2 Rivalry of Warlords
    2 Chain Disappearance
    2 Dust Tornado
2 Cunning of the Six Samurai
    1 Cyber Dragon
1 Seven Tools of the Bandit
1 Grave of the Super Ancient Organism

    Extra Deck (12)
3 Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En
    1 Ally of Justice Catastor
1 Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
1 Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier
    1 Naturia Barkion
    1 Naturia Beast
    1 Black Rose Dragon
    1 Stardust Dragon
    1 Scrap Dragon
    1 Chimeratech Fortress Dragon

    EDIT #1:
Made a couple changes, but not all recommended by Chaos714. I was actually considering most of them myself but wanted a second opinion before changing since the previous build worked pretty well.

However, I disagree about the Dojos. They have proven most useful for performing those extra summons needed but not provided by draw alone.

    EDIT #2:
I've got different opinions on Trap Stun, so I'm just going to do what I think is best and up it.

I still agree with BERKAY and others about not including the Shogun. After the previous change I had another slot so I'm just like... okay whatev.

@BERKAY, Different Dimension Ground is very useful against anything Graveyard based. The surprise factor it gives you, and the plus that it isn't continuous, can ruin a player's day time and time again. Just wait for your opponent to Summon Debris and bring back Dandy, or to use Foolish Burial, or even to flip Ryko. It can steal their means of gaining advantage without being easily read, so they will be less likely to play protectively.

I still have different opinions on the Dojo and my gut is telling me to keep it. By different opinions I mean you and this:
    http://www.pojo.biz/board/showthread.php?t=924653
If I face a lot of back row hate, well that pretty much reduces the effectiveness of all my major continuous spells. Not just the Dojo.

I like the reasoning for Chain Disappearance, but I honestly think Cunning would be better suited for this. It's useful against anti-front row and opposing Six Samurai. I put both in because Chain Disappearance works against more than just Six Samurai.

    EDIT #3:
I added a Shien's Squire. Having a tuner that can be searched by Dojo with only 1 summon will be useful. If drawn, I can use it to either summon it as a tuner or hang on to it as a bit of extra protection.

why not great shogun shien?? u can almost always summon him with this deck... its job is to swarm the field and getting 2 six samurai monsters on the field for shogun is a cinch... besides usually u summon kageki, use effect to summon kagemusha, then summon great shogun shien, then synchro for shi en. Instant Spell/Trap lockdown

Shogun actually used to be in here, but I've honestly had better games without him. Even if I could get him out, in the meta he won't last long. I may still consider adding him again later but for now he's out.

Little interesting combo I've done before was Great Shogun Shien and Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En.

Hmm... I guess I could side deck it for when I'm not facing against any heavy control.

Don't use Shogun Shien he's not worth the dead draws tbh. Also run 3 Upstart or not at all...that's just how the card works. Drop a stun and maybe something else if you really want dojo but I don't like it that much tbh

I don't know have you ever changed but I'll go on main post.

-1 Yaichi It has really good effect. However you can't keep a monster with 1000 ATK easily. If you can gain it more power like ATK points, it's more worth to use it. However you can't cange conscept for this card. :/
    -1

+1 Trap Stun Samurai's hater is backrow. You must stop it and best card you can do it with is Trap Stun.
    +1

-1 Different Dimension Ground It's really new and and honestly, I saw it first here. 0_o But you need more empty spots for every-deck-hating. clown
-1 The Six Samurai – Irou
-1 The Six Samurai – Zanji
-1 The Six Samurai – Kamon
    -1 Great Shogun Shien
Really, why you think you need them during side?
+1 Dust Tornado You can defend yourself againist Light Beat deck with this card, since it's backrow is powerful.
+2 Chain Disappearance ou can use this in a mirror match since this deck is very popular, I'm sure you'll meet with it.
+2 Magic Dragin With not surely, because this might make you slower if you side, I think you'll need it. Just a sense. :/
